No dude never hit the beast, when I have ridden it was Very Very wet and slippery and no chicken wire on the Beast take off, But now that it has chicken wire on it AND a proper landing has been built I will defo hit it once it is bedded down! (honest! esp if you guys hit it 1st LOL) NOT seen and idiots down there when I have been down there but then I am 35 and less likely to have someone try to take my bike, I would say make sure you get down there with a large group or with a few older guys or when they are planning a bit of a session!

check out this link, scroll down to the Map, there are a few changes to the Map like it shows the line starting and joining the existing trails into the berms BUT is will actually jump over the Stepdown jump (Top left) instead!

Sounds like something I won't be hitting!!!! If I am thinking of where you are describing....... there used to be a Gap jump there before where one of Hodgy's mates really hurt himself landing on the Pi$$??
Bathpool had a wooden step up to drop in, then a dirt style double leading straight onto a table that was the same profile as the double BUT without the gap in the middle! BUT today we were down there, Si had a Digger down there to sculpt a proper landing for the Beast jump, then the wooden step up is being removed and taken to the very top of the hill to become a start ramp, I was clearing out/ levelling a new line from the new start ramp area which leads to a big gap jump/drop over an existing line then it will lead into a 30 foot gap jump that will be built, and the existing jumps I mentioned above will be moved across to the side to give two choices, but also the same run in can be used to hit the Beast as well!

I wished!!! No, what new road gap is that?? the only thing I have built (and it ain't that good) is the 180 degree berm in the newest line that branches off the very start of old SKI jump line that starts at the top just off the fire road and ends with the big Ski jump into the Bowl! I haven't been down Hanchurch for a month (I went XC last monday, night ride!) been to kidsgrove Freeriders Bathpool bike park today....... muddy and mint!

cheers mate :)
